How Airport Therapy Animal Programs Work:

These animals don't live at the airport. They're visitors who come in with their handlers for short visits of up to 2 hours. Some airports have a single therapy animal who visits now and then, while larger airports may have a whole team visiting more often.

Please Note:

Therapy animals are working animals, and their well-being comes first. Visits depend on each program and the animals' health, so encounters are not guaranteed.

✓ Covered: Commercial airports with verified active therapy animal programs.
✕ Not covered: Visit days or times, shift schedules, handler names or internal contacts, or non-commercial airfields.
